Great paddle, better price

Really enjoying the X3 Pro. Nice feel at the net and for resets. Plenty of power too. Definitely one of my favorites right now.

X3 Pro

I like it. Need more reps with it. Feels pretty good though.

Not bad for a beginner like me. Very solid ground strokes with much needed power generation. The paddle does feel a bit heavier at net, but ultimately it has boosted my gameplay significantly.

#1 Go To Paddle in My Bag!

The X3 Pro is my everyday paddle. No, I am not a 5.0 player. I started playing pb in 2024 but I come from a tennis background where I played USTA 4.0+ tennis in the 90's while living in CA. I am now 68 but still can get around the court rather quickly. I only play 4-6 hours a week and I mainly play against bangers.
The X3 Pro allows me to reset their shots and affords me the ability to generate my own power shots when desired. I am more of an all court player. I have a two handed backhand so the six inch handle is a much appeciated feature. The face of the X3 Pro is slightly smaller than my Pro Apes but doesn't cause any problems or drawbacks. It is a bit head heavy and isn't as quick as the X4 paddle when exchanging fire near the kitchen area. However, if you have fast hands and or can regularly anticipate your opponents shots, the X3 Pro can still win the battles during doubles. The paddle not only has great power but surprisingly very good control. I also own a Selkirk Luxx but I feel that paddle is overpriced. I also found I had to work harder to generate more power from the baseline with the Luxx.

I appreciate Body Helix's price points for their paddles. I have a problem shelling $200-$300 for a pickleball paddle that eventually wears out and needs to be replaced. PB paddles are not tennis rackets and shouldn't be priced as such!

I also own the X3 Lite and found they are eerily similar to my Pickleball Ape paddles but with a six inch handle.

In closing, if you're not a 5.0 player but a rec player as myself and come from a tennis background, give the X3 Pro a try; you might be pleasantly surprised. If you're already an intermediate or advanced player and like a heavy paddle, I don't think you will be disappointed with the X3 Pro. I own two of them.
